Free Coaching Scheme

Free Coaching Scheme
There is no cookie-cutter solution to the climate crisis and general mess we’re in. For those of us who are able to, the best we can do is to take a look at our life, our job, our community, our passion and understand what our unique work to do is.
The CMP (in collaboration with the Climate Coaching Alliance) is offering pro-bono support for its members, volunteers and collaborators who would benefit from a sounding board throughout this process.
Coaching is offered to:
CMP core group
Small bit of clarification on what 'core group' means
CMP umbrella
People active within the CMP and taking action under the CMP umbrella
Incubator and campaign staff
Staff and volunteers in CMP incubator project organisations and in CMP campaigns
The process:
Choose a coach for a chemistry conversation to see if you would be happy working together
Once you've chosen your coach, agree how you will work together and start
Once matched, the coach and the client agree how often their sessions occus. Some coaches may offer a maximum number of encounters.
In coaching, the role of the coach is not advisor or healer but rather a facilitator of your own thinking, drawing on your innate capabilities and resourcefulness. Often the work is focussed around a set of goals for the coachee. Coaches listen, support, challenge and invite new thinking for complex or stuck situations.
The kinds of issues you might bring to this scheme include the practical or emotional aspects of your climate engagement; clarifying your purpose and values within that work; establishing priorities; untangling tricky relationships or situations; or identifying ways for recovery and wellbeing – the scope is wide.

No: the scheme is pro bono and the coaches are giving their time and expertise for free. Please respect their contribution: response promptly to messages from them and show up when agreed between you.
